Ingredients

About one medium bowl
  • About 2 1/2 inches of daikon radish
  • 1cucumber (it's delicious with just daikon or just cucumber)
  • 1 cantuna
  • 2 tablespoonsmayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoonponzu sauce
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Ground sesame seeds to taste
  • About 1/2 teaspoon salt (for salting)

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the daikon and cucumber into thin strips. It's okay if they're a bit thick. They don't need to be as thin as matchsticks. Use a slicer if you have one for quick preparation.

    Add salt and about 1 tablespoon of water, lightly massage, and let sit for about 5 minutes.

    Meanwhile, mix the drained tuna with mayonnaise and ponzu sauce.

    Add black pepper. A generous amount is recommended.

    Squeeze the daikon and cucumber tightly to remove excess water, then mix with the tuna mayo to finish!

    Sprinkle with ground sesame seeds to your liking and enjoy! This time, I garnished with radish sprouts and shredded seaweed. It's also delicious with bonito flakes!
