Teppanyaki-Style Stir-Fried Beef with Scallions

I had a sirloin steak in the fridge that was a bit tough, so I cut it into small pieces to marinate. The simple seasoning softened the meat, and this was my first time making stir-fried beef with scallions. Thankfully, it turned out well, and my family said it was delicious.
The main seasonings are Kikkoman soy sauce and pepper, which add a sweet and savory flavor without being overly salty.
Tips
Kikkoman soy sauce is brewed using a double fermentation process. More details at https://www.kikkoman.com.tw/secret-qa.html

Steps
- 1
Mix the marinade ingredients well and marinate the beef for about 20 minutes. Pay attention to the ratio of meat to soy sauce!
- 2
Slice the vegetables on a diagonal and set aside. Add the green and white parts of the scallions separately, and add the onion in two parts because I like it a bit crunchy.
- 3
Add a little oil to sauté the onion and the white part of the scallions, then add the beef and stir-fry until it changes color.
- 4
Add 2 teaspoons of soy sauce to enhance the aroma, then add a little hot water and stir well. The cornstarch in the beef marinade will naturally thicken the sauce.
- 5
On another burner, heat a griddle until hot, then turn off the heat. No need to heat until it smokes!
- 6
Stir-fry the vegetables for about 1 minute, then transfer to the griddle.
- 7
When you pour it onto the griddle, it will sizzle, and the aroma of butter and soy sauce will combine perfectly! If you like black pepper, sprinkle it on after serving! This dish is great with rice, thanks to the savory sauce, not because it's overly salty! If you like it, give it a try~

I haven't even eaten yet, and there's only onion left for my mom >_<
