Grilled Salted Chicken Wings (Yakitori-Style at Home)

Grilling chicken lets the excess fat drip away, removes any unwanted smell, and makes it delicious. Plus, it’s healthy and easy to get that restaurant-style flavor at home! This recipe combines chicken prep techniques I learned in cooking class with tips from a friend who used to work at a yakitori restaurant. It’s the best salt-grilled chicken I’ve ever made. Great for meal prep, as a snack, or for lunchboxes!

Easy Yakitori at Home Easy Yakitori at Home
My family loves yakitori. Since there are lots of hungry boys in my family, it can get expensive to eat out. That's why we try to make it at home. Please adjust the sweetness of the sauce. When the chicken is freshly cooked, dip in the sauce. It prevents the chicken from getting dry. The oil that drips off the chicken when you dip the skewers in it gradually adds flavor to the sauce. You can pour the leftover sauce on top later, use it for a stir-fry, or pour it over rice. For 30 skewers. Recipe by Keikunno okusan cookpad.japan -

I always make this with chicken thighs, but I thought if I could make it in the salted chicken style then chicken breasts could also become nice and tender.Since you flour the chicken breasts when you add the sauce it'll develop a creamy thickness.Peppering the meat before applying the flour gives it a more developed taste.
