Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  1. 5.3 oz (150 g)thinly sliced pork loin for shabu-shabu
  2. 1cucumber
  3. 2-3umeboshi (pickled plums)
  4. 2 tablespoonsponzu sauce (30 ml)
  5. 2 teaspoonswhite sesame seeds (8 g)
  6. 2 teaspoonssesame oil (10 ml)
  7. 0.07 oz (2 g)bonito flakes

Cooking Instructions

    Fill a pot with plenty of water and bring to a boil. Reduce to low heat, then add the pork slices, spreading them out. Cook until the color changes, then drain in a colander and let cool.

    Slice the cucumber in half lengthwise, then cut into thin diagonal slices. Remove the pits from the umeboshi and mash them with a knife to make a paste.

    Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
