I love tarts, so I was looking for an easy-to-make recipe. When I tried this one, it turned out crispy and delicious, so I decided to share it.

Sift the flour, sugar, and salt into a bowl. Add the butter and cut it into small pieces using a pastry cutter.

Once the butter is small enough, rub it between your fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.

Add the egg, spreading it evenly, and gather the mixture into a ball.

Wrap it in plastic wrap, flatten it, and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch (2-3 mm). Cut it into a round shape slightly larger than the tart pan and place it in the prepared pan.

Refrigerate until the dough is firm.

Place parchment paper and weights on top, and bake in a 340°F (170°C) oven for about 13 minutes until the bottom is dry.

Remove the weights and bake for another 2-3 minutes to ensure the crust is fully cooked.
