Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut off the tops of the bell peppers and remove the seeds. Finely chop the onion.

In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and milk. Once the breadcrumbs are soft, add the onion, ground pork, beaten egg, and salt and pepper. Knead the mixture together.

Stuff the bell peppers with the mixture from step 2.
- 4
Heat the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Stand the peppers with the meat side down and cook until browned.

Lay the peppers on their sides and continue to cook, rolling them until the surface of the peppers is browned.
- 6
Add the ingredients marked with ◎, cover, and simmer on low heat for about 12 minutes, turning occasionally.
- 7
Remove the lid, increase to high heat, and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.

I've been eating this since childhood, and generally each bell pepper (also known as capsicum) is enough for one meal either by itself or with sides. The stuffing is intended for 6 bell peppers, but can be eaten by itself or in like a wrap if you like.Kikuriki
