Gather all ingredients.

Boil the noodles. For this recipe, softer noodles are recommended.

In a large bowl, add the egg, sesame oil, MSG, grated garlic, the included soup powder, and the included sesame seeds. Mix well.

Transfer the cooked noodles to the bowl and toss to coat thoroughly.

Add as much of the noodle cooking water as you like (less is recommended), mix well, then generously top with the finishing seasonings and green onions.
