Chilled Tofu with 'Hiroshi' Seasoning

Crispy and delicious 'Hiroshi'! Using Mishima Foods' Hiroshi seasoning gives you a new way to enjoy tofu.

Update: Since posting this recipe, 'Salmon Hiroshi' and 'Dashi Hiroshi' have been released, and I've received feedback that they're delicious! Please give them a try.

After trying A-ko Nee-san's natto (ID: 21809111) and getting hooked on 'Hiroshi', I decided to try it with tofu. Please also check out A-ko Nee-san's 'Hiroshi Natto'!

Ingredients

Serves 1 serving
  • 1 slicetofu
  • 1/2 teaspoonMishima Foods 'Hiroshi' seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoontoasted sesame oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Here are the ingredients.

    A picture of step 1 of Chilled Tofu with 'Hiroshi' Seasoning.
  2. 2

    Place the tofu on a plate and sprinkle the Hiroshi seasoning on top. Note: Hiroshi is quite salty, so be careful with the amount.

  3. 3

    Drizzle the sesame oil over the Hiroshi seasoning. Use about half as much sesame oil as Hiroshi.

  4. 4

    Break up the tofu and mix as you eat. Enjoy!

  5. 5

    Mako Sando added some grated yuzu peel on top, which added a wonderful aroma. Feel free to try it!

    You can also use 'Salmon Hiroshi' or 'Dashi Hiroshi' for variety.
