First, make the dough by mixing 1 cup ground beef with the bulgur and cracked wheat. Add a little water and knead the dough well.

For the filling, cook the ground beef, onion, and spices over medium heat.

Shape the dough into balls, fill them with the meat mixture, and form them into round shapes.

Boil the kibbeh in a pot of boiling water, adding only a few pieces at a time (about 4 per batch). Always make sure the water is boiling before adding more kibbeh to prevent them from falling apart.

After boiling, you can either freeze the kibbeh for later or use them right away.

You can fry the kibbeh or serve them in a red soup as shown.
