Rice flour in a large bowl.
Add turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, salt, hing/ asafoetida, ajwain/carom seeds and kasuri methi. - 2
Next add, finely chopped onions, ginger, green chillies, grated carrot, finely chopped tomato, coriander leaves and mix well..

Pour 1/2 cup of water and mix well.
Pour another 1/2 cup and mix again.
Check for seasoning and add anything if required. - 4
Heat a pan and pour a ladle of batter on it.

Spread it gently and add some oil to the edges. Cook the chilla on medium low flame
