Roasted chana dal coconut chutney

Take a pan, add oil, heat it. Add chana dal & dry red chilli, saute it for a minute.

Now add in all the given ingredients except salt one by one, saute it till coconut turns light brown. Allow it to cool down.

Take a mixer jar, add all the roasted ingredients, in goes salt & lil water, grind it to a fine paste, take out in a bowl, keep aside.

Take a tadka pan, add oil, heat it. In goes rai, let it splutter. Add in dry red chilli & curry leaves, cook it until brown.

Pour tadka onto the chutney, mix it well while serving. Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with a dhania sprig.
