Kales is one vegetable eaten by almost every one. it was called sukuma wiki because it one of the cheapest and easily afforded vegetables in Kenya hence it could be eaten daily.

Kales is one vegetable eaten by almost every one. it was called sukuma wiki because it one of the cheapest and easily afforded vegetables in Kenya hence it could be eaten daily.

In a cooking pot put 1 tbsp of oil.

Add the chopped onions

Fry for a few minutes till golden brown

Add the chopped kales and fry for 5 more minutes

Do not fry for a long time as it might to brown hence loosing the nutrients.

In a different cooking pan, boil 1/2 cup of water.

Then into the water add the maize flour little by little while mixing and turning until it thickens

Then cover the ugali for 2 minutes and mix the ugali.

Mix and turn the Ugali for 2 more minutes and serve while hot.
