This is our all time favourite tea snack. This puris can be made crunchy (if fried for longer time) or soft locho puri (if fried a little less). It can be enjoyed with tea, achar, pickled chillies, garlic chutney and like.
Steps
- 1
Combine all the ingredients well to the flour (except the oil to fry). Make medium soft dough like for parathas if you want soft puris and make stiff dough if you want crispy puris. Cover and keep aside.
- 2
Knead the dough till smooth using 2tbsp fresh cream or some oil. Make 23 small balls. Keep them covered.
- 3
Roll even and medium thin puris. Fry them in smoking hot oil if you are making soft puris. Flip and fry thoroughly on both sided, but remove before they get crunchy. If you want crispy puris, make some splits on puris using a knife or fork. Fry them on medium to hot oil on both sides till they look crunchy all around.

They are ready! Enjoy!
