Very easy to make this curry within few minutes. Tasty side dish with sambar and rasam rice. You can grate or finely chop the beetroot for this recipe.

Very easy to make this curry within few minutes. Tasty side dish with sambar and rasam rice. You can grate or finely chop the beetroot for this recipe.

Wash, Peel and grate or finely chop the beetroot

Heat oil add mustard, urad dal, onion and curry leaves. Saute for a minute
- 3
Add the beetroot and sprinkle little water and cover the pan and cook it in low flame
- 4
After five minutes open the lid and check it. The beetroot is well cooked
- 5
Add grated coconut and mix
