Sabudana Vada
Steps
- 1
Start by soaking sabudana for 5 hours or overnight until they are soft and can be mashed easily.
- 2
Peel, boil and roughly mash the potatoes in a mixing bowl.
- 3
Add salt, green chilies and lemon juice.
- 4
Now add singara flour, tapioca flour and crushed peanuts.
- 5
Combine all the ingredients well to form a sticky mixture.
- 6
Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a ball. Flatten the ball slightly to form a vada. Repeat with the rest.
- 7
Heat oil in a pan for deep frying and slide the vadas into the hot oil and fry them until they turn golden brown and crispy.
- 8
Remove the fried vadas from oil onto a plate.
- 9
Serve the hot and crispy Sabudana Vadas with chutney or yogurt dip and enjoy ✨
