Assemble ingredients

In moderately heated pan, add oil add ginger + 1 green chilli and sauté for few seconds, then add carrot + beetroot and sauté for 3-4 minutes.

Then add salt + garam masala, mix well and sauté for another 3-4 minutes, don’t overcook.

Mash Potato.
Then add carrot + beetroot mix to mashed potato + bread crumbs and mix well. Give shape of Tikki or any shape of your choice. - 5
Make slurry by adding maida + salt + red chilli powder + water. We need a thin slurry but not watery slurry.

Now dip each Tikki in slurry, then coat with bread crumbs all over nicely and keep aside. Do this process with each cutlets.

Now in pan add oil, shallow fry Tikkis under low to medium flame till golden brown, flip the other side and fry well.

Tikki is done.
