Boil the Water and Pour the rinsed Moong dal (Pasi Paruppu) (Yellow Split Gram).

Cook the Moong dal (Pasi Paruppu) for 30-to-40 minutes.

The dal need to be cooked until it become smooth and if have excess water that should be drained.

Now Take off from the stove (switch off the flame), Then, Add the Milk, Sugar, Cardamom Powder, Kesari Powder

Now add Cardamom Powder, Kesar Powder.

Mix it very well, Keep aside for some minutes. (moong dal mixture)

Meanwhile, in other side, Heat the ghee in non-Stick pan, Add the Chopped Cashews.
Fry it until it become Golden Brown.

Keep Aside Fried Cashews.

Now in same Pan (fried cashews pan) Add Wheat flour, Stir it continuously until aroma comes.

Then add the moong dal mixture to the pan, mix well until wheat flour and moong Dal, blends together without any lumps.

Cook it in medium flame without any lumps.

Now add remaining ghee little by little while stirring it continuously.

At this stage, the halwa doesn't stick to the pan and leaves ghee at the sides.
Halwa want to looks glossy and doesn't stick to the pan.

Finally, Add Roasted Cashews as topping.

Finally, Moong Dal (Pasi Paruppu) (Yellow Split Gram) Halwa is ready.
