Marinate chicken with ginger garlic,yoghurt,lemon,chilli paste and all the ground spices for 1 hour.

Soak rice for few hours.

Cut chillies into 2-3 pieces.

Boil rice with whole garam masala,salt,chillies and mint.

Drain water and keep the rice a side.

Add chicken to the pan along with the marination.

Add in a cup of water.

Cook till chicken is tender and little water is left.

Add in fried onions and cook till water dries up,onion is mixed and chicken is dry.

Add in oil and bhoono well.

Smoke chicken with a coal.

Put half rice in a pan.

Throw in chicken.

Cover with remaining rice.

Cook covered on dum for 10-15 minutes.

Serve hot with raita and salad.
