Ingredients

  1. 2small sub rolls or baguettes
  2. 4-6heaping tablespoons of thick sour cream (about 60–90 grams)
  3. 1 package(3.5–5.3 oz or 100–150 grams) shredded mozzarella cheese
  4. 1 packageshredded Swiss cheese (Gruyère or Swiss, about 3.5 oz or 100 grams)
  5. 1 package (5.3 oz)or 150 grams) diced bacon or pancetta
  6. 1onion

Steps

    Cut the rolls or baguettes in half lengthwise.

    Spread the sour cream evenly over the bread.

    Sprinkle the mozzarella over the bread.

    Add the diced bacon or pancetta.

    Peel and finely chop the onion, then sprinkle it over the tartines.

    Add the shredded Swiss cheese on top.

    Bake at 350°F (180°C), watching carefully, until golden and bubbly. Enjoy!
