Faradi recipe for Navratri which is similar to manchurian (dry)

Steps

Ready all the ingredients.
Peel and soak the yam and potatoes in water for 1 hour. Wipe dry and grate them. - 2
Add in all the remaining ingredients. Mix well. Heat oil for deep fry. Add juice of half a lemon and mix.

Add in little water and mix and set a thick batter consistency. Make pakodas into hot oil. Do not touch for 2-3 minutes,to avoid splitting of pakodas. Keep the gas flame medium high,else pakodas may turn oily. Fry pakodas halfway and take out from oil.

Allow pakodas to cool for 10 minutes. This helps to cook the yam and potato pakodas from inside also. Before serving refry the pakoda,on fast gas,until crispy.
Note not to fry on slow gas, else pakodas can turn oily. - 5
Serve Purple yam and Potato pakodas hot with masala curd or green chutney. These pakodas can be fried halfway and stored in fridge for 1 day.
