I by accident bought salt free wheat bread. I tried to make sandwiches with it but family said it was too bland. I didn’t want to waste the bread so I made croutons.

I by accident bought salt free wheat bread. I tried to make sandwiches with it but family said it was too bland. I didn’t want to waste the bread so I made croutons.

Ingredients

  1. 6 sliceswheat bread
  2. 1 TbsItalian seasoning
  3. 1 Tbssalt free garlic & herb seasoning
  4. 1 Tbsgarlic powder
  5. 1 Tbsblack pepper
  6. 1 1/2 Tbsolive oil or vegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350. Cut bread into 1inch cubes. Sprinkle with seasonings than oil. Toss to mix. Bake 15 minutes.

    Let set 15-30 minutes, they will harden as they cool. Put in an air tight container. Best eaten within 3 days.
