Sitaphal Basundi & Kulfi
A recipe I learnt from my Dearest Mom
Steps
- 1
Heat 1litre milk. Bring to boil. Soak saffron in some hot milk and keep aside.
- 2
Boil and reduce the milk to 350-400 ml. Add in sugar and mix to dissolve it completely. Boil milk for 5 more minutes and then add in the saffron.
- 3
Scrape the malai that sticks to the edges to get a lachhedaar basundi. Mix well. Cool the reduced milk completely. Separate the seeds and keep the custard apple segments ready. Take the segments and some reduced milk in mixer jar and churn.
- 4
Mix it into the rest of the reduced milk and mix well. Add in Elaichi powder and mix. A super tasty
SITAPHAL BASUNDI is ready.
Serve chilled.
Alternatively, freeze this basundi and serve as tasty
SITAPHAL KULFI. - 5
Enjoy the winter fruit in a tasty way with family and friends.
Happy Cooking !!😊
