Ingredients

30 minutes
  1. 1 cupmasoor dal
  2. 1/4 tsphing
  3. 1/2 tspturmeric
  4. 1 tspred chilli powder
  5. 1onion finely chopped
  6. 1/2 tspginger paste
  7. 1/2 tspgarlic paste
  8. 1tomato finely chopped
  9. 3 tspoil
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  12. 8-10curry leaves
  13. 1green chilli
  14. 1 tspcumin seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and Soak masoor dal.pressure cook it.In a pan heat oil.add cumin seeds.addhing.

    Add curry leaves and green chilli.add chopped onion.saute till translucent.add chopped tomatoes.

  3. 3

    Add ginger garlic paste.saute for 5 minutes till tomato softens..add boiled masoor dal and all masalas.Boil for 5 minutes on low flame.

    Serve hot with rice.
