Anti-Inflammatory Golden Honey

A traditional home remedy with anti-inflammatory properties that helps reduce pain related to my fibromyalgia (it also works for other inflammatory conditions like arthritis), thanks to the synergy of spices and honey, while also boosting the immune system. It's also a great brain stimulant and aids digestion. I take a teaspoon each day in a cup of warm (not hot) rooibos tea to preserve its effectiveness.

Choose organic spices and good-quality honey if possible. Manuka honey is best for anti-inflammatory effects, or use a good acacia honey as an alternative.

Add the heaping teaspoons of cinnamon, ginger, and turmeric to the honey and mix well.

Add a generous pinch of black pepper and cayenne pepper (these enhance the anti-inflammatory effect of turmeric) and mix again.

No need to refrigerate. Take one to two teaspoons per day in warm (not hot) water with rooibos or tea.
