Prepare the dough: Mix the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Add the warm milk and egg, then knead the dough. Incorporate the softened butter and knead until smooth and elastic. Let it rise for about 1 hour.

Shape the buns: Once risen, divide the dough into equal portions and shape into buns. Let them rise again for 30 minutes.

Bake: Brush with a bit of milk or egg wash, then bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
