#ID It is loaded with iron, calcium and other vital nutrients that make our skin glow. It is an excellent body coolant and reduces body heat when consumed for a period of 48 days

Clean the greens, pluck only the leaves aand discard the stem.Wash the laal saag 2-3 times thoroughly with water and drain it. Roughly chop the saag and keep it ready.

Heat 3 tsp of oil in a kadai/pan. Splutter mustard seeds and then add urad dal and fry until it turns to golden brown color. Now add dry red chillies and mix well.

Add finely chopped onions, pinch of salt and fry until they turn translucent.

Now add the washed and chopped laal saag and mix really well. Add required salt and mix really well for 20-30 seconds.

At this stage sprinkle ¼ cup of water to the keerai and mix well. Let the greens cook well until done and water is completely absorbed.

Finally add grated coconut, mix really well and then switch off the stove.

Now ready to serve...
