Ingredients

20 minutes
4 Servings
  • 500 gstore-bought Gnocchi
  • Salt for cooking Gnocchi
  • Oil OR Butter to grease a baking dish
  • 40 gButter
  • 1 cupPeas
  • 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons)Plain Flour
  • 2 cupsMilk
  • Salt & Pepper *I added 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1cupful grated Tasty Cheese (Cheddar) *OR Cheese of your choice
  • Finely chopped Parsley *optional

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 220℃. Lightly grease a large baking dish with Oil OR Butter.

  2. 2

    Melt 40g Butter in a large frying pan over medium heat, add Peas. When bubbling, add Flour and stir, then add Milk, and stir until thickens. Season with Salt and Pepper.

  3. 3

    Meanwhile, cook Gnocchi in boiling salted water. Drain and add to the sauce, roughly combine, then pour into the prepared baking dish, spread evenly. Cover with grated Cheese.

  4. 4

    Bake for 10 to 15 minutes OR until golden. Sprinkle with finely chopped Parsley and some ground Pepper, and serve.
