Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 2 Tlow sodium soy sauce
  • 1 THoisin sauce
  • 2 tspbrown sugar
  • 1 tspsesame oil
  • 1/2 tspchile garlic sauce
  • Noodles:
  • 8 ozfrozen lo mein noodles (thaw)
  • 1 Tsesame oil
  • 2 clovesgarlic, minced
  • 1 tspfresh ginger minced
  • 2 Cmushrooms, sliced
  • 1small red pepper. julienned
  • 1carrot, julienned
  • 1/2 Csnow peas
  • 2scallions, diced
  • 1 Casparagus, sliced
  • 6-10shrimp (peeled)
  • 1 Cchicken breast, cut up

    In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and chile garlic sauce. Set aside.

    Boil noodles according to package instructions. Drain.

  3. 3

    Heat sesame oil in a large wok skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic, ginger, mushrooms, bell pepper, carrot, chicken, asparagus, and shrimp. Cook, stirring often until tender, about 4 minutes. Stir in the snow peas and sauté until tender, about 2 minutes.

    Stir in the scallions and noodles along with the sauce mixture, and toss to combine.

  5. 5

    Serve. I doubled the sauce and covered it with as much as I wanted.
