I love chicken, it is mostly associated with people from western Kenya but Kenyan people are chicken lovers.

Cut 1/2 a chicken into small pieces then put it in a cooking pot to boil for 10 minutes.Check if it is soft by using a fork.

In a new cooking pot put 100 ml of corn oil leave to heat up for 3 seconds then put chopped onions and leave it to cook till it is golden brown.

Add diced tomatoes and leave to cook for 2 minutes then add a pinch of salt and turmeric as you stir.

Add pieces of boiled chicken and leave for 3 minutes to steam.

Stir the mix and add some water to make stew then cover it to boil for 2 minutes.Put sprinkles of coriander on to the stew.

Chicken stew is ready to be served for 2 with rice and green kales. Karibuni!
