Ingredients

30-40 mins
4-6 people
  1. 2 poundsground beef
  2. 1 bowlMexican Seasoning Blend (see recipe below)
  3. 1 packageKnorr's Mexican Rice
  4. 1 canrefried beans
  5. 1 boxsmall hard taco shells
  6. 1sprinkle Great Value Fiesta Blend shredded cheese (optional)
  7. Mexican Seasoning Blend
  8. 1 tablespoonchili powder
  9. 1 teaspoongarlic powder
  10. 1 teaspoononion powder
  11. 1/2 teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes
  12. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  13. 1/2 teaspoonsmoked paprika
  14. 1/2 teaspoonthyme (substitute with oregano or Italian seasoning if needed)
  15. 1/4 teaspoonblack pepper

Cooking Instructions

30-40 mins
  1. 1

In a pot, brown and crumble ground beef then add Mexican Seasoning Blend. I mix in one seasoning at a time, but you can add them all at once.

  2. 2

In a separate pot, prepare Knorr's Mexican Rice as instructed by the package. Once done, fluff with a fork and leave over low heat until ready to use.

  3. 3

In a separate pot, prepare refried beans as instructed by the can. Once done, leave over low heat until ready to use.

  4. 4

Once beef is fully browned and crumbled, pour in Knorr's Mexican Rice and mix. Once rice is fully incorporated, pour in refried beans and mix. Make sure all ingredients are fully incorporated; the mixture should be fairly thick.

  5. 5

While the other ingredients are cooking, heat taco shells as instructed by the box. This step is optional, but I prefer my shells on the crunchy side.

  6. 6

Allow shells to cool before stuffing with the meat mixture. You can now add cheese and other toppings of your choice if you'd like.

  7. 7

Enjoy your Mexican Rice Stuffed Tacos! 🌮
