Ingredients

20 minutes, prep time 15 minutes
2 servings
  • 1 cupsorghum flour
  • 1/4 cupwhole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cupgram flour
  • 1/2 cupmethi leaves
  • 1/2 tspred chili flakes
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tbspcurd
  • 1 tspginger chili paste
  • 1 tspred chili powder
  • 1/4 tsphing
  • 2 tspoil for dough
  • 1 tspwhite sesame seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Hot Water as required
  • Oil to shallow fry all thepla

20 minutes, prep time 15 minutes

    Mix all the three flours in a bowl. Add all the dry spices. Add fenugreek, ginger chilli paste, curd, oil and mix well.

    Now add hot water as per requirement and knead the dough. Make the dough a little tight. Apply oil and rub it.

    Roll it with light hands. Because of the jowar millet, the round edges of the thepla get torn. I have placed a round large plate on the thepla and cut the edges with its help. Apply oil on both sides and roast them by turning them over on medium flame. Prepare all the theplas.
