Jan’s Beer Bread

I used to make beer bread with that fancy Tastefully Simple mix until I had a moment of clarity. I was basically paying premium prices for flour and the privilege of adding my own beer.
Now I make it from scratch. Same great bread, half the cost, and funny how the beer leftovers never seem to make it into the recipe. 🍺

Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- 3
Pour in the beer and stir until just combined; the batter will be lumpy.
- 4
Grease four small loaf pans and divide the dough evenly between them, or if you’d rather, grease one regular loaf pan and put all the dough in together.
- 5
Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown.
- 6
Let them cool before slicing and serving.
