Black chickpea masala

Take a bowl of black chana, add it into the bowl clean well and pour water soak it for overnight.

Remove the water,add into the pressure cooker, add two cups of water, half spoon salt. Cook for five whistles. Rain the water. Transfer to a bowl.

Keep a kadai on medium heat,add oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves and chopped onions, red chilli, cumin powder,chat masala and curry leaves, saute for three minutes. Now add the boiled chana,and salt. Give a nice mix. Add grated coconut and coriander leaves,mix well. Chana masala is ready.
