Steps
- 1
Dissolve the salt and sugar in the warm water. Add to the flour, yeast, and yogurt. Knead well until the dough is soft and slightly sticky. Add the oil at the end, knead again, cover, and let rise for 15 minutes.
- 2
Cook the ground beef with onion, garlic, pepper, and tomato sauce. Do the same if using ground chicken.
- 3
Once the filling has cooled, mix in one egg and beat well.
- 4
Divide the dough into medium-sized balls and cover them.
- 5
Take one ball, roll it out into an oval shape, add the ground beef filling, seal well, and flip it over.
- 6
Open the top of the dough slightly with a knife or your hands, spread it out, and add either the cheese mix or the ground beef filling mixed with egg.
- 7
Let rise for 15 minutes. Brush the dough with either sugar water or milk, then bake in a hot oven until golden brown.
- 8
As soon as they come out of the oven, sprinkle with water and cover for 5 minutes.
- 9
Cut and serve. Enjoy!
