Cut a piece from the middle of the white pomfret, enough for one serving. Marinate the fish with 1 tablespoon fish sauce, seasoning powder, black pepper, and the white part of green onion. Let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Bring 1 bowl (about 2 cups/480 ml) of water to a boil. Add the fish and let it cook. Taste and adjust the seasoning. Next, add the chopped tomato and bring to a boil again, then turn off the heat. Add dill, and if you like it spicy, add chili.

Serve in a bowl and sprinkle black pepper on top.
