Farali Medu Vada is a crispy, golden fritter made from sama rice combined with mashed potatoes and mild spices. Traditionally enjoyed during fasting, these vadas are deep-fried to perfection, offering a light, crunchy exterior and a soft, fluffy center, best served with coconut chutney or yogurt.

First upon take a Bowl and add sama chawal (Barnyard Millet) and wash it 2-3 times Properly.

Take a Pressure Cooker and add water, wash sama chawal, Mix Once and add potato, salt and mix very well. Now cook sama chawal in a midium gas flame for 2 whistle.

Then remove in bowl and mix it, cool little and press potato with fork and mix Properly. Then from this mixture take half mixture in a mixture grinder and grind it. Mix everything very well.

Then add ginger chilli paste, chopped sweet curry leaves, sendha namak, curd, crushed peanuts and sabudana powder. Then mix very well and rest this mixture for 10 to 15 minutes.

Now grease hand with Oil

Now Heat a pan with oil for frying. Then wet your hands with water to prevent sticking. Take a small portion of the batter, shape it into a round ball, and then create a hole in the center, forming a doughnut shape. Fry both the sides golden and crispy in a midium gas flame. Serve With Chutney

Now our very crispy and yummy Farali Medu Vada is ready for serve. Serve with farali green chutney or masala Curd.
