📌I prepared this soup in desi style, we Indians love desi Ghee, so spices are sautéed in ghee to enhance more flavor and healthier.

Steps

Wash and soak dal for 30 minutes. Cook in pressure cooker. Boil onion, tomato, and carrot in water. Blend cooked dal and veggies.

Take a pan, add ghee, bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, pepper corns, ginger chili, garlic, and chili flakes. Saute them well.

Add blended dal and water as required to make Shorba. Add blended veggies into dal soup. Stir well. Add all spices - salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder.

Add green onion leaves, lemon juice,and coriander. Boil for 2 minutes. It's ready to serve.

Garnish it with chopped onion leaves and coriander. Sprinkle chili flakes for vibrant red color. Enjoy Indian style, delicious and nutritious Dal Shorba.
Tips
Drink warm to keep body warmth in the winter season.
