Steps
- 1
First, ready all ingredients. Take flours in a big container. I added more jowar flour than shown in the first picture.
- 2
Add in dry masalas. Add 2 cups of water in batches and mix to form a lumpfree mixture.
- 3
Add in the fresh ingredients. Add in more water and prepare a batter. Mix vigorously and rest the batter covered for 30 minutes.
- 4
The batter should be very thin liquidt of MILK CONSISTENCY. Heat a tawa and sprinkle chopped onions. The tawa should be very hot. Mix well and take some batter in a pouring cup and make a mesh netted dosa by pouring the batter from a height of 4-5" from the tawa, keeping flame high
- 5
Start from circumference for perfect dosa. Now reduce flame to medium snd roast the Jowar dosa well. When brown spots appear drizzle ghee and roast until crispy. Fold and take out on serving plate.
- 6
Serve hot with coconut chutney. (Do tempering in the chutney for best taste). Serve healthy Instant Jowar Dosa with a smile😊. Happy Cooking😊!!
Tips
Note that the flours settle at the bottom of the batter So mix well first before making each dosa for the right texture.
