A small-sized version of the traditional Maharashtrian sweet with kaju katli stuffing for a twist (variation).

Soak kesar in milk for 10 minutes.

Mix flour, kesar milk, salt, and water to knead a medium soft dough. Apply ghee, cover, and rest.

Blend kaju katli pieces (and coconut bura, dry fruits powder if using) in pulse mode for stuffing.

Divide dough into equal parts. Shape each into a bowl, fill with stuffing, seal, and gently roll into mini puranpoli.

Cook on a hot tawa, applying ghee, until both sides are golden.
Tips
You can adjust the sweetness of the stuffing by adding more or less kaju katli, and feel free to experiment with different nuts in the filling.
