my custom Spicy & Sweet Tomato Pasta Sauce made in a slow-cooker aka the crock-pot
a slow an steady recipe for bowl licking good flavor to pair with a 3-cheese pasta with cottage cheese so yeah that really 4 cheeses but whos counting
my fav go to dish with this sauce is
1lbs Rigatoni pasta slow cooked in beef bone broth then
with 2lbs of 90% Ground Bison slow-cooked separately an then
added to a 34oz bowl on top of a layer of cottage cheese an layered
with Ground Bison topped with Creamy Gouda , 15 Month Aged Cheddar , Ricotta Salata
then final covered with 2 cups of the Smooth Spicy & Sweet Tomato Pasta Sauce
this whole recipe of sauce plus pasta nets about 10 20oz servings
but this is just the sauce recipe

Pre-warm 6 to 8 quart slow-cooker on low for 30min with foil covered lid

Slice the Roma Tomatoes in.25in slices an add the crock with can of 28 oz diced tomatoes (drained) (the roma's wiil provide all the needed moisture)

Pre-mix all the spices an powders separately from the roma's & diced tomatoes make sure the spices an powders are finely mixed

Add no-more then 2 tbsp of the spice an powder blend at the start then only 2 every hour this to avoid clumping (pat into sauce with spatula dont stir)

Stir every 2hrs Leave the lid off for 30min then recover

At the end of the 6hr 30min run turn off crock an let cool for 1 hr then store or serve
