You'll need a 5 plus quart electric stand mixer with a Mixing Paddle not a Whisk (its not a suitable part for the mash mixing) & a 6 to 7 quart crock

Load first all the liquids water, sour cream, heavy whipping cream an pre-mix for 3 mins

Next pre-mix in a large mixing cup the dry ingredients

Next while electric mix is set to low to meduim speed gradually add in the dry mix an let run on low to meduim speed for 5min then set to meduim to high speed for 10min till very evenly mixed

Now pre-heat a 6 or 8 quart crock-pot with foil covered lid for 30mins on low

After 30min pre-heat add in the mash mix an cover for 30min on low

After 30mind on low lift lid an evenly stir an re-cover for 1 hour 30mins

At 1 hour 30min on low lift lid an evenly stir again an re-cover for the remaining 1 hour 30mins

At 3hr an 30min turn pot off an off set lid to cool for 10min then serve or store
