Ingredients

1 hr / 30mins
Dough
  • 180 gflour
  • 20 gcornstarch (makes it crispy)
  • 3 gsalt (1/2 tsp)
  • 120 gwater
  • 10 goil (optional)
  • Filling
  • 100 gchicken (finely chopped)
  • 1Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1carrots (finely chopped)
  • 2bell peppers (finely chopped)
  • Salt, Pepper, Sugar. (Seasoned in your desired taste)

Steps

1 hr / 30mins
  1. 1

    Mix dry ingredients

    In a bowl combine:
    • 180 g flour
    • 20 g cornstarch
    • 3 g salt

    Mix well.

  2. 2

    Slowly pour 120 g water while mixing with your hand or spoon.

  3. 3

    Knead the dough 8–10 minutes until it becomes smooth and slightly elastic.

    If sticky → add 1 tsp flour.

  4. 4

    Cover and rest 20 minutes.

    This makes it easier to roll.

  5. 5

    Roll & part each piece into thin circles (about 18-20g per ball)

  6. 6

    Stir Fry the fillings. Set Aside after and let it cool.

  7. 7

    Put your desired filling in the middle about 1tsp. Fold and press edges tightly.

  8. 8

    Heat oil medium heat. Fry each side until golden brown.

  9. 9

    Serve with rice or your desired way to eat your perfect crispy dumpling pockets. Enjoy. 😊
