This recipe takes time and a little attention! I can guarantee that its worth it though. I've had many great quick versions of sausage and cabbage but never spectacular. So decided to try for spectacular!

This recipe takes time and a little attention! I can guarantee that its worth it though. I've had many great quick versions of sausage and cabbage but never spectacular. So decided to try for spectacular!

First, in an ngreased deep skillet on med high heat, slice up the sausage and toss in the garlic. Watch it closely and just get a good sear on the sausage without burning the garlic.

Next, add in the cut up large onion with a little butter and a few splashes of Worcestershire sauce. At this point, cover it, stir occasionally and get a good light caramelization on the onions. When the onions are fork tender, add a spash of white wine to deglaze the pan and get all that flavor off the bottom. Simmer for a couple more minutes and then remove this from skillet (set aside)

Then add the head of chopped up green cabbage to the skillet with a little butter and season heavily with Dan-O's original. Cover on medium heat stirring occasionally until fork tender.

Now pour the onion, sausage, and garlic that we made and set aside into the cooked cabbage. Simmering and stirring for a bit to let the flavors mesh!

Finally, add can of diced tomatoes, stir, and top with Dan-O's Cheesoning. Turn off heat, cover, and let sit a bit.

Last, Serve yourself a bowl of the best sausage and cabbage ever..
Tips
This took time and cooked mostly on medium heat after searing the sausage.
