Ingredients

  • 1 cupgranulated sugar
  • 1/3 cupbutter
  • 1/2 cupmilk
  • 13/4 cupsflour
  • 3/4 poundsdates chopped
  • 3 teaspoonsbaking powder
  • 1 teaspoonsvanilla
  • Little salt
  • Cinnamon sugar
  • 1egg

Steps

  1. 1

    Cream butter

  2. 2

    Add sugar mix well

  3. 3

    Add egg and vanilla

  4. 4

    Mix flour and milk alternately

  5. 5

    Place In 8x8 baking pan press in dates top with cinnamon sugar

  6. 6

    Bake at 375 for 30 minutes
