Ingredients

4-serving
  • 300 gmsPavakkai
  • 1 cupcoconut grated
  • 10 podsshallots
  • 4 podsgarlic
  • 4green chillies
  • 1 tspmustard seeds
  • ts 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • curry leaves
  • to tastesalt
  • 2 tspsOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash pavakkai

  2. 2

    Chop into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Slice shallots, crush garlic, chop green chillies

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, allow to splutter, add sliced shallots, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves

  5. 5

    Add chopped pavakkai and turmeric powder,  mix well.

  6. 6

    Add quarter cup water. Cook in slow flame for abt 15 minutes

  7. 7

    When done add grated coconut, salt and stir  till completely dry.

  8. 8

    Bring down, serve.
