Ingredients

  • 1Karimeen medium size
  • Marination :
  • 1 tablespoonChilli powder
  • 1/2 tablespoonTurmeric powder
  • 1/2 tablespoonFennel
  • 1Cinnamon small piece
  • 1/4 teaspoonPepper powder
  • pinchGinger garlic small
  • 1Green chilli
  • Salt
  • masala For
  • 10 nosShallots chopped
  • 2 tablespoonsOnion chopped
  • 1/2 tspGinger garlic chopped
  • 1/4 tspFennel pwdr
  • 1/4Chilli pwdr spoon
  • 1Curry leaves petal
  • Salt
  • Oil ( coconut oil 👍)
  • Banana leaf

Steps

  1. 1

    After cleaning the fish marinate and keep it aside for 5-10 mins. Then shallow fry it.

  2. 2

    Add oil in a pan Saute shallots, onion and gingergarlic paste. Add chilli, salt fennelpowder and curry leaves.

  3. 3

    Apply  a thick layer of the masala inside and outside.

  4. 4

    Wrap the fish in the banana leaf and tie it with the stem.

  5. 5

    Heat the pan and add 1/2 spoon of oil and place the wrapped fish.

  6. 6

    Cook each side for 5-6 minutes in slow flame.

  7. 7

    Serve hot with rice / chappathi😋😋
