Ingredients

  • 250gms of sagoo
  • 150gms of Bengal gram dal.
  • 100gms each of carrots, French beans,potatoes, tomatoes
  • 1 cuppeeled green peas
  • 2-3green chillies
  • 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • leavesfreshly chopped coriandar
  • oil for sauting
  • salt and sugar as required

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak the sagoo in warm water for an hour.

  2. 2

    Cut all the vegetables in cubical pieces

  3. 3

    Wash the bengal gram dal and fry it on a low flame with salt and turmeric and the vegetables.

  4. 4

    Add with it peas and chillies (chopped )and keep frying.

  5. 5

    As the vegetables become tender add water and bring to boil on a medium flame.Gradually add the sagoo and stir.

  6. 6

    When the mixture thickens add sugar as per taste.

  7. 7

    Remove from flame and garnish with coriander leaves.
