Preheat oven to 180°C.

Cream butter and sugar until smooth.

Add milk and vanilla, mix well.

Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix to form a dough.

Roll out dough to 5mm thickness. Cut into animal shapes.

Place on baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes until lightly golden.
