Okonomiyaki お好みやき

I love Asian food, and even though I don't have the original Japanese ingredients, I've managed to bring you this okonomiyaki recipe.

I love Asian food, and even though I don't have the original Japanese ingredients, I've managed to bring you this okonomiyaki recipe.
Steps
- 1
First, place the flour in a bowl, make a well in the center, and add the egg, oil, and salt. Mix until the consistency is sticky, not too liquid or too thick. Add water as needed.
- 2
Heat oil in a pan.
- 3
Add the onion, ginger, and half of the ham, and sauté.
- 4
Pour the batter over the sautéed ingredients and cover for about 4-5 minutes, checking to prevent burning.
- 5
Flip it over and let it cook.
- 6
To prepare the okonomiyaki sauce, simply mix the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and honey in a bowl and adjust to taste.
- 7
Once the base is ready, place it on a plate, spread the okonomiyaki sauce, add the remaining ham, and decorate with mayonnaise. You can also use shrimp, beef, bacon, or whatever you like. If you can find bonito flakes or katsuobushi, that's great, or shredded lettuce is an excellent substitute.

I hope you enjoy it!
