Black Plum Laddus
Steps
- 1
Add ghee in kadhai and fry dryfruits in it until it becomes crispy.
- 2
Now add desiccated coconut and roast it until it starts changing its colour to light golden.
- 3
Later add grated beetroot and black plums in it and cook until all water drys out. Then add sugar(optional), Milk powder, ilaichi powder and fried dry fruits.
- 4
If you are adding sugar, wait till all mixture starts becoming dough. Other wise take it off flame once it starts separating ghee.
- 5
Make small laddus out of this mixture. Garnish it with desiccated coconut
- 6
I personally dont recommend to add sugar as plums and beetroots are sweet enough.
- 7
Don't store it over a week and store it in refrigerator.
